About Ran

Shalom, I'm Ran. I have a diverse background. From flying single engine airplanes to designing websites. There will never be a shortage of topics to discuss and new ways to learn and apply our Hebrew knowledge. Hebrew is my native tongue so you will learn the correct pronunciation of words. Choose your interests: reading, writing, conversation and I will accommodate to your needs.

About the lesson

Think you don’t know Hebrew? Think again. You might be more of a Hebrew speaker than you realize.

Let’s talk names: Have you met a Jacob? Or an Elizabeth, Michael, Abigail, or Matthew? How about a Rebecca?

Now, onto Hebrew words: Ever marked a Jubilee? Savored a candy cane? Grabbed a Bagel?

Hebrew is like uncovering an ancient treasure map. What’s more thrilling than hunting for treasure?

I’m Ran, I live in Florida but grew up in Rehovot, Israel. Hebrew is my native tongue.

My teaching is simple. We start by asking: Why? That guides our lessons.

Hebrew comes in various flavors. Biblical, modern, corporate, slang. You choose!

We’ll dive into Hebrew’s unique sounds; it's pretty throaty! Maybe prep some tea!

Understanding the why makes memorizing and piecing the puzzle together way easier.
