About Lyra
My name is Lyra and I am currently studying A Level maths, history and government and politics. I have always been an enthusiastic student and achieved 7-9s in my GCSEs. Over the last year, I have enjoyed helping younger children gain confidence in core subjects. Being young myself, helps children connect with me and it means that I am familiar with the methods that are used within schools for teaching core subjects.

I work with primary school children to help them engage and succeed in maths and English. This is work connected to the Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 curriculum. I have an enthusiasm about learning and enjoy working with young children and adapting to their learning styles. Initially I will meet with your child for a free introduction session to find out about what they are looking to improve. My sessions are an hour long and are either online or at my house in Southampton.
