Conservatoire student from the Royal College of Music studying the flute with 3 years of teaching experience - looking for pupils of all ages and any level to teach the flute in central and west Londo

I have been a student of Lauren’s for both the flute and GCSE maths. She is a warm and friendly person and passionate teacher. She took the time to adapt to my learning style and explain things in different ways when I got confused with certain topics. Would recommend.

Having worked with Lauren for many years in multiple ensemble settings, she is a dynamic and extremely talented flautist. She has great communication skills allowing her to convey new concepts to students with ease and produce visible progress. Moreover, I've always appreciated her careful attention and explanation; Lauren, in her education at the Royal College Music, has gained a plethora of ideas and perspectives. This makes her a competent and reliable teacher for all.

Lauren has taught flute to all ages including children at primary, secondary and tertiary school. She is exceptionally talented scoring 49/50 in her flute diploma, and now flying at London’s Royal College of Music. Whilst having high - but fair - standards, she is also very kind and supportive. Unsurprisingly her clientele stay on her books not wanting to be taught by anyone else!

Lauren is a hardworking, reliable, kind and inspirational tutor. She cares enormously about her pupils and has a natural flair for putting them at ease. Lauren has a passion for a supportive approach to ensure all students are able to process to a high level. She’s also an amazing flautist with the most incredible tone. She’s studied both classical and Suzuki methods and she’s had the teachings of many incredible tutors so share the learnings. These include Zoe Booth, Michael Cox, Ian Clarke, Lorna McGhee, Emma Halnan, Robert Winn and many more.
Lauren is flexible with timings and is extremely reliable. I cannot recommend more highly. She is aware of the pressures of life and will work with your availability and goals to help you get what you aim for in your flute - be that high level performance or the joy of playing.
