About Glen

Here to give you results with a lot of fun, pianist Glen Fabisevich has developed a system for online teaching which replicates in-person lessons and actually improves on it, with an extensive online musical library geared to all tastes. He has created a system of teaching which will have you moving through pieces at a great pace, while enjoying and retaining all information, as well as a wonderful and innovative screen-sharing system making online lessons seamless and accessible!

Glen is a graduate of the Manhattan School of Music in Piano Performance, has been playing for 35 years, and actively performs in New York, as well as all over the world, in countries such as Finland, Brazil, and Peru. He loves to acquire different knowledge from different styles, and is happy to share everything he's learned, as you learn how to play the music you enjoy!

He has been teaching for 22 years, and has been teaching exclusively online for 5 years. He's thrilled to share the joy of learning music, and can teach in any style - classical, jazz, pop, and beyond that.

About the lesson

Lessons are 30 or 45 minutes, with the first one being FREE! Lessons include repertoire, scales, technique, theory, improvising, and even composition. The rates are less than the stated hourly rate, but the results are packed due to how quickly we will be moving through material.

There are weekly assignments based on what you’d like to be learning. We work with a wide variety of material, including the Faber Piano Adventures book, a wonderful sight-reading series, but we find pieces in any style you like, with the goal of getting you to play the music you love to play, and to play it at a great level!

Glen is with you every step of the way, here to answer every question, and to provide you with the knowledge you need to become the musician you’re looking to be!

Glen was a kind, thoughtful, and very patient teacher with my daughter. She's never quite taken to piano and it's always felt like a chore, but we decided to give it one more shot with virtual lessons.

I wasn't expecting very much but I was surprised to find out that the online lessons were very compelling, and there's no longer a headache of getting my daughter to and from her lessons across town. It's not only the convenience but the program too, she really seems to have clicked with Glen, and looks forward to her lessons.
