I am working as a Software Developer at a large Tech Consultancy in London. I specialise in web development (both back and front end).
I think web development is creative, rewarding and would love to share my passion with you!
I have a 1st class degree in Information Technology and Management for Business from the University of Sheffield.
Key skills include Java, JavaScript, Ruby, HTML, React, SQL, UI design, TDD, version control and agile/scrum methodologies.
I have experience tutoring front-end web development courses after being a tutor to around 25 students at Code First Girls.

I think that the best way to learn anything is by doing it wrong and learning from mistakes. This especially applies when writing code.
Because of this, I believe that it's best that a student is hands on from the very first lesson.
It would be best to have a conversation before the tutoring starts where we can discuss exactly what you'd want to learn, and I can come back with a flexible curriculum for the course. If, during the course, you identify anything you specifically want to pursue then we can adjust the course to play to your interests as well.
