About Gareth
I currently reside in Cardiff completing a Masters in Songwriting and Production at the University of South Wales specialising in the guitar. I have 15 years of experience playing the guitar with 11 years of performance experience and 4 years of professional session experience with works for DJs across Cardiff and Ibiza. I work as a dep and guitarist/ bassist for Talking Bird music as of present meaning I travel across the UK weekly to perform for corporate events and weddings.
I enjoy playing and teaching all styles of music such as; Jazz, Bebop, Gypsy Jazz, Funk, Rock, Neo-soul, Blues, and Metal, and can also offer lessons in Music theory, Composition and Music Production to all ages.
I take great pride in watching my students grow in confidence and ability and look forward to meeting new students who grow into great musicians.

I base my classes around what my students wish to become, be that a rock star guitarist to a jazz player. Discovering the best way for you to learn the guitar through the songs you want to play mixed with contemporary music theory to make learning the guitar an enjoyable experience.
