About Sky
Graduating with a BFA in Popular Music from Berklee College of Music gave me the tools to help you find your sound. You are likely an adult player looking for structure or a performer ready to sharpen your stage presence.
I have spent 8 years teaching people how to move past plateaus while keeping things light. Gigging around Seattle keeps my ears sharp and my perspective fresh. Sometimes the best way to learn is by having someone in your corner who understands the grind.
It is honestly quite fun to watch students realize they can handle complex rhythm work after some focused practice. Playing music should be the highlight of your week.

Starting out means we identify your biggest roadblocks before you even touch a key. Forget the idea that serious practice has to be boring or overly rigid. My studio is fully equipped with high-end mics to ensure you hear every detail of your progress. We integrate scales, ear training, and ABRSM prep into a framework that actually makes sense.
My background at Berklee ensures that we cover the technical theory without losing the soul of the music. You will leave with a clear plan for your next practice session.
