I've been teaching conversational teaching for 2 years now to Chinese students.
I live in the Philippines and own a Hostel where we have guests from all over the world. I know how to make sure you're understood when speaking English.

A relaxed atmosphere so both the student and teacher can enjoy the session.
I would show a video of the topic chosen and then discuss it with the students.
If I feel the student wants to discuss another topic from the one I chose, I'll follow the lead of the student.
Conversational English is for any age.
