About Charley

Since I earned my degree in French Studies, I maintain a high standard for accuracy during our conversations. Every minute spent together is designed to keep you engaged and smiling throughout the hour. You will walk away from our first meeting with at least 5 new phrases to use immediately.

Idioms and expressions are the secret code to sounding like a local, so I prioritize those right from the start. Dealing with grammar is easier when you treat it like a puzzle rather than a chore. My 13 years of experience have shown that language lives in the music of speech.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in French Studies from Concordia University to anchor my methods in academic structure. Growing up in Trois-Rivières means I can filter out the stiff textbook approach that often hinders progress. Playing chanson française for 13 years informs my rhythmic approach to helping you grasp complex sounds.
