About George
I am a clinician with international training experience and fluent German, and I teach because I know firsthand how challenging—and important—it is to communicate confidently in another language, especially in professional and medical settings. Having learned and refined my own German through living and working in German-speaking countries, I understand the common hurdles learners face and how to overcome them efficiently. I enjoy teaching because it allows me to help others gain real communicative confidence, not just theoretical knowledge, and to remove the barriers that language can create in daily life and at work. Teaching is also deeply rewarding for me, as I see it as a shared, interactive process: adapting to each learner’s goals, building trust, and supporting them as they progress toward fluency and professional integration.

I am a fluent German speaker with extensive experience living in Germany and working in German-speaking healthcare systems, and I offer a practical, confidence-focused approach to conversational and medical German.
Having trained and worked in Germany as a doctor I can help with all aspects of improving German speaking and fluency.
My teaching focuses on natural communication, pronunciation, and situational fluency, rather than rigid textbook phrases, with sessions tailored to your goals, whether that is living in a German-speaking country, passing German or medical language exams, or functioning confidently in a work or hospital environment. I aim to create a relaxed, supportive space where learners can speak freely, make mistakes, and rapidly build practical language skills they can use immediately.
