About Kari
Well mostly my experience has been in teaching English. I've taught in schools in Spain, and online through Preply. I've also worked as an au pair in France and Spain.
I mainly learned Spanish through living in Spain for so long and being forced to speak it.
I learned French in school, starting at age 9.
I am interested in international travel, culture, spirituality, art, dance, makeup, and languages.

So like the title suggests, I'm a native Canadian English speaker offering Spanish conversational classes. I love speaking Spanish and continuously speak it every day, read Spanish and watch Spanish. I lived in the Canary Islands of Spain for 6 years and reached a very high level of Spanish- when I first went there I didn't speak a single word other than "hola!"
Although many people prefer practicing with a native Spanish speaker, for beginner to intermediate Spanish learners it might be a bit more helpful to have a tutor who can also speak fluent English!
