About Beth
I have been a math expert for as long as I can remember - someone my friends and family members looked to for support when they were struggling with math. I took all of the accelerated math courses throughout middle school, high school, and college. I even won some awards for my high scores! During my 2 years of teaching Algebra 1 and Geometry in the classroom, I learned many new ways to translate math into a language that more students can understand. I also made it my mission to build lasting relationships with my students, so that they felt at ease in my classroom and unafraid to come to me with any questions. I pride myself indoing the same with my online tutoring students. I am here for you . Let's get started!

If you are struggling to grasp the math concepts and methods that you are currently learning in the classroom. I am here to help you by meeting you where you are (as far as math knowledge is concerned) and find a way to communicate the lessons in a way that you are able to understand more clearly. I use the "flipped" method of teaching math. The old, traditional way just doesn't work for most. So instead of listening to me talk about math for 30+ minutes and sending you off to work through math problems on your own, I flip it! You will watch short video lessons on your own (15 minutes or less) and then we do the practic eproblems ttogether.
