I primary teach undergraduates and highschoolers who wish to learn more about the world that they live in. My pedagogical approach follows in the footsteps of Paulo Freire who pioneered the techniques of critical pedagogy. Therefore, while teaching, I help the students understand and critique the systems that helped shaped the present. The tutoring sessions are split into two segments. The first segment introduces key concepts and ideas, and the second segment is used for discussion and analysis of key readings.
I am a Cornell Masters of Public Administration student concentrating in international development. Prior to my Cornell studies, I worked for the University of Missouri Extension and the United States Peace Corps. In both positions I either supervised or taught taught a variety of students including those in undergrads, high school, and junior high. My students are high performers who use my techniques to excel in a multitude of subjects.
