About Masha

English is not my first language - I remember agonizing over ESL classes in Kindergarten and feeling humiliated about reading slower than my peers in elementary school. Once I got a grasp on the language, I fell in love with it and now hope to change others’ perceptions of the reading and writing subjects.

About the lesson

I’m a patient and adaptable tutor who aims to empower students and advocate for their learning through a highly individualized approach. I tutored at the Lindamood-Bell Learning Center during college and have early child development experience in both coursework and practicum. I’m especially passionate about working with non-native English learners.
