About Luke
Hi! I am a Commercial Solicitor with a master’s degree in Law and an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering. Having spent years navigating both rigorous analytical science and detailed legal logic, I specialise in helping students untangle complex topics and master structured problem-solving. I’m an active remote tutor who has completed over 500 online lessons with students across the UK across the past 4 years.
I teach because I know firsthand how transformative the right approach to learning can be. Too often, bright students struggle not because they lack capability, but because school environments don't always teach how to take an exam or structure a high-scoring answer.
What I enjoy most about tutoring is seeing that lightbulb moment—when a topic a student previously feared suddenly becomes manageable, logical, and even straightforward. My goal for every student is to build lasting academic confidence, eliminate exam anxiety through clear strategies, and help them achieve the top-tier grades they are capable of securing.

First, we tackle targeted topics by taking the concepts you find most confusing and breaking them down into simple, easy-to-understand pieces aligned directly with your exact exam board specification. Second, we focus on mastering exam technique, because knowing the material is only half the battle. I will show you how to decode tricky question wording, spot what examiners are looking for, and structure high-scoring answers without the guesswork. Finally, we put everything into active practice by working through past paper questions together at your pace, so by the time exam season arrives, answering them feels like second nature.
Our sessions are standard 1-hour interactive lessons hosted online using smooth video and screen-sharing tools so we can work on diagrams, essays, and questions together in real time. Every single session is tailored directly to your goals, targeting the specific areas where you feel stuck so you get maximum value out of every minute.
I work with KS3, GCSE, and A-Level students across all major exam boards including AQA, OCR, Edexcel, CCEA, and WJEC. Whether you need steady weekly help to keep on top of schoolwork, an intensive push before mocks, or specific help with essay technique and problem-solving, we will adapt every session to your learning speed.
I bring over four years of dedicated online tutoring experience with more than 500 successful sessions completed with students just like you. Academically, I hold a Master’s degree in Law alongside a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
