About Gabriele
I work as an Actuary in the insurance sector, I come from a background in Statistical and Actuarial Sciences (Cattolica-Milan) and in Economics (Bocconi-Milan), and for about 8 years I have been helping undergraduate and graduate students with tutoring in financial mathematics, mathematics, statistics , econometrics, probability, risk theory.

During lessons I try to keep a friendly and empathy-based approach. The goal is to lead the student in the understanding of the topics in a progressive way, with tailor-made material and targeted exercises, so that he can always be comfortable and motivated, and never in awe of the subject or discouraged by excessive difficulty of the arguments.
I always try to precede the more theoretical / formal explanations with a more friendly and informal introduction, to make it easier to understand what we are talking about and to provide the student with an overview of the topics, perhaps starting from something which he already knows and with whom he is confident, and then progressively adds more theoretical / formal or new elements.
At the beginning of the course I will try to check with the student which are the topics that give more concern and plan together the steps to be followed in order to be prepared for the exam, without anxiety or stress, taking care of both technical and psychological aspects which naturally accompanies the study of a new subject or which may be particularly difficult for the student, perhaps in the light of his academic background.
The goal is always to obtain the maximum result with the minimum effort, preferring comprehension to memorization, always with a focus on passing (possibly with satisfaction) the final exam.
