About Simone
Study until the Bac in France. Beginning in New York at 16, going through the equivalence to enter Columbia Univeristy, I received a Master of journalism; I then worked for several news agency in the US and France, also teaching for the Language School of the US Department of State for diplomats This led me to become an interpreter/translator during the last 30 years. In addition, I taught English second language for newcomers and refugees in Washington, DC and Arizona.

I offer living American courses. I will make you understand the influence of cultural references that changed the language in the US. I offer courses via Skype to improve your accent. Twice a week for a total of 35 euro per week. My experience showed that each session should not last more than 45 minutes. This will allow you to benefit from the lesson, avoiding too much information to digest at once. My career as a journalist followed by several positions as live interpreter/translator, allowed me to teach both French and English successfully for over 30 years. My method comes from my experience with the School Of Languages of the US Department of State, dedicated to US Diplomats. This method recognizes that only in speaking with fluently competent professors permits to learn any language.
Only minimal knowledge is necessary, we can work, for example, with lyrics that interested you and gave an overview of amériains sounds.
