About Francisco
Spending 10 years writing, recording, and teaching songwriting allows me to meet you exactly where you currently reside in your creative path. You have likely spent time searching for a guide who understands that songwriting is a craft demanding both patience and technical skill. My work with countless students has shown me that the best results come from steady, real progress on tangible tracks.
Building a shareable song requires a partner who knows how to navigate the complexities of genre conventions while keeping your unique voice intact. I hold a BM Commercial Music degree from Belmont University, which provides a strong foundation for the guidance I offer.
It is a privilege to assist working musicians, content creators, career switchers, and complete beginners on their musical journeys. My approach is grounded in the reality that music is meant to be finished and heard by others. Being able to support your development across 10 years of professional practice has been incredibly rewarding. I truly enjoy seeing the moment when a rough idea transforms into a finished piece of art.

Admitting that the hardest part of songwriting is often the blank page is something I do frequently. I focus on editing and rewriting your existing work to ensure we are building dynamics that keep a listener engaged from start to finish.
We work through genre conventions in pop, country, folk, and R&B to ensure your song hits the right marks. Harmony basics and melody writing are addressed alongside your specific needs for rhyme schemes and meter.
I offer feedback on your own tracks every week to ensure you remain on the right path toward completion. Point of view and perspective are essential tools we utilize to sharpen your storytelling capabilities.
Melodic phrasing is another key area where we will spend time refining the emotional arc of your composition. By focusing on these elements, we build a song that stands up to scrutiny and reflects your vision. Bringing your ideas to fruition is my primary goal during our time together.
