About Pete

I’m Pete, a Creative Director and Strategic Creative Thinker and Graphic Design Tutor with over 30+ years of experience working inside commercial design agencies and studios.

I have taught, inspired, tutored and mentored many students including Creatives, Designers and teams and I teach graphic design based on years of qualified practical graphic design experience working within commercial design agencies at all levels within the creative industry.

Over my creative career, I have also won a number of creativity awards including a European Innovation Award.

With expertise in designing exceptional graphic design solutions working with some of the biggest global brands like Jim Henson Associates (Disney), Capitol Records (amongst many others) I deliver excellent creative solutions and offer the select students that I tutor a unique learning experience in Graphic Designer that will empower them to become the best Designers and Creative Thinkers that they can be so that they can develop their own unique creativity and succeed in the industry.

I don’t teach just surface-level design like other Graphic Design Tutors!

I teach the thinking and creative decision-making that separates average Designers from the professionals and my unique teaching style is tailored specifically to the individual students requirements and utilises different types of interactive activities to maximise my student’s learning. This makes my lessons enjoyable, fun, unique, engaging and very effective for the student's development.
