Duration : 8 weeks - Price : $600.00 - Place : Brooklyn (11222)This class will guide students to reflect on what fashion is, what are the possibilities of careers in fashion, marketing, designer identity, fashion illustration, and collection development. Students will leave training understanding fashion design as a craft and as a professional, and will have developed marketing and design skills that will guide their design thinking process and prepare them for further steps in a fashion career. This class can be tailored for a pre college portfolio preparation class or an interactive class for younger kids. There is the possibility to add sewing/ garment making classes as well, if supplies are available.

Course setup
I have been giving after school fashion classes in public schools in New York, and have a curriculum developed for 8 1h45m classes. I have taught groups from 4 to 15 kids and students leave the class with tactile projects as well as skills to present the work they developed, work their creative thought process through design identity, and construct wearable garments.
