About Penny

As a dedicated French tutor with 7 years of experience, I specialise in helping students from school through college master the language with confidence and enthusiasm. I provide clear explanations, honest assessments, and transparent expectations to ensure students always know what they are working toward. Flexibility allows me to shape lessons around each student’s learning style—whether they prefer grammar-based lessons, immersive conversation practice, or step-by-step vocabulary building. Communication forms the core of my methodology. I offer plenty of opportunities for interactive speaking, listening comprehension, reading exercises, and scenario-based practice that reflect real French usage. A positive environment encourages learners to ask questions, try new expressions, and develop confidence without fear of mistakes. My goal is to make French approachable, enjoyable, and relevant to everyday life.
