About Lian
I am a dedicated Guitar tutor with 9 years of experience, deeply passionate about teaching and music. I have successfully taught over 300–350 high school and college students, helping them improve their skills and confidence. One of the biggest achievements in my journey has been seeing students who once struggled become confident and independent players.
This transformation motivates me to continue teaching with dedication. My teaching style is simple, clear, and adaptable to each student’s needs. I focus on strong basics, regular practice, and gradual improvement. I also encourage creativity and self-expression so students can enjoy learning.
I believe that every student learns differently, and I always adjust my approach to support their progress. My aim is to create a positive and inspiring learning environment where students feel comfortable and excited to learn guitar.

My teaching methodology for Guitar is designed to make learning clear, steady, and enjoyable using communication, accountability, and integrity. I begin by understanding each student’s background and goals, then build lessons starting from basic skills like chords, rhythm, and hand coordination, gradually moving towards advanced techniques such as strumming variations and fingerstyle playing.
I explain every concept in a simple and easy way so students can follow without confusion.
I maintain open communication in my classes so students feel comfortable asking questions and sharing their difficulties. I focus on accountability by giving structured practice routines and guiding students on how to practise effectively at home. I regularly track their progress and provide detailed feedback to help them improve step by step.
Integrity is at the core of my teaching, and I always give honest feedback while supporting students patiently. I also include music theory and rhythm training to help students develop complete musical skills.
