About Makayla
I am an MFA graduate in Creative Writing with years of experience helping students strengthen their essays, stories, and professional writing. My academic training and workshop experience have taught me how to give clear, constructive feedback that builds confidence while improving technique. I take professionalism seriously: I prepare personalized lesson plans, communicate clearly, and always meet deadlines. Constructive feedback you can immediately apply to future work
What sets me apart is my MFA training in creative writing combined with hands-on teaching experience. I know what it’s like to face writer’s block, confusion with structure, or frustration with feedback—and I can guide you through those challenges with patience and encouragement.
