About Tayara
I am a professional Flute tutor with more than 13 years of teaching experience. I teach students from School level, College level, and working professionals who wish to learn flute either for education, passion, or personal growth.
My teaching approach is friendly, organised, and student-centred. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adjust my teaching methods to suit individual needs. I focus on breath control, tone production, finger technique, rhythm accuracy, and musical understanding. I make sure students learn the correct techniques from the beginning to avoid bad habits.
In addition to flute, I teach supporting subjects such as music theory, notation reading, rhythm exercises, ear training, and basic performance skills. I also help students prepare for exams, competitions, auditions, and stage performances. My lessons combine theory and practical exercises to give students a balanced learning experience.
My unique ability is building confidence in students while maintaining discipline and consistency. I guide students on effective practice routines and help them track their progress. I believe music should be both disciplined and enjoyable. My goal is to help students become confident flute players with a deep understanding and love for music.

I follow a flexible and creative teaching methodology for flute that focuses on communication, understanding, and personal growth. My aim is to help students enjoy music while developing strong technical and expressive skills.
Clear communication is essential in my lessons. I explain each concept step by step and use demonstrations to make learning easier. I encourage open conversation so students feel comfortable sharing their challenges. Regular feedback helps students understand their progress and areas for improvement.
Creativity is woven into every lesson. I use creative exercises, rhythm games, and familiar melodies to keep students engaged. I encourage students to explore musical expression, dynamics, and tone quality rather than only focusing on accuracy. This helps students build confidence and a deeper connection with music.
Flexibility allows me to adapt lessons to each student’s needs. I adjust lesson speed, content, and practice methods based on individual progress. Whether a student is preparing for exams, performances, or learning as a hobby, I design lessons to support their goals.
Flute training includes breathing techniques, posture, embouchure, finger technique, scales, articulation, sight reading, and musical phrasing. I focus on building strong basics first and then moving towards advanced skills gradually.
