About Chloe
I am a USA-based female online singing tutor with over 6 years of live teaching experience working with K-12 students, high school learners, college first-year students, and beginner adult singers. I completed my Bachelor of Music Education degree in the United States and later earned additional certification in Vocal Performance Coaching & Contemporary Music Training. Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with students preparing for choir competitions, musical theatre auditions, talent showcases, and school music programs. I focus on creating supportive one-to-one live lessons where students can improve comfortably while building vocal confidence and stage presence!
During my teaching journey, I received the “Golden Harmony Vocal Excellence Medal” and the “Bright Stage Performer Mentor Award” for helping young singers improve confidence, vocal technique, and performance quality in online music programs. I enjoy helping students discover their unique singing style while also teaching proper vocal care and musical expression. My teaching style combines structured practice, positive motivation, creative exercises, and real performance guidance. I also share real experiences from performances, rehearsal preparation, and vocal training situations to help students understand music more naturally and confidently!
Outside of teaching, I enjoy songwriting, café music journaling, nature photography, yoga wellness routines, vinyl record collecting, and attending local acoustic music festivals across the USA. I love exploring modern vocal trends, discovering new indie artists, and creating personalized lesson plans for every student. My goal is always to make online singing lessons enjoyable, organized, and confidence-building for every learner while helping students achieve strong musical growth through patient guidance and supportive teaching methods!

Hello, and welcome to my online one-to-one singing lessons! My name is Emily Kensington, and I teach students from K-12 level, high school learners, college first-year students, and adult beginners across the USA. My lessons are designed to help students feel comfortable, confident, and excited while improving their singing voice step by step. I focus on live online classes where every student receives personal attention, customized vocal exercises, and supportive guidance based on their goals. I can help students prepare for school performances, choir auditions, music competitions, talent shows, live stage performances, studio practice, and personal singing improvement. I also encourage students to send their favorite songs or practice material before class so I can create lessons specially designed for them!
In my classes, students learn vocal warmups, breathing control, pitch correction, rhythm understanding, microphone confidence, vocal expression, and performance techniques. I teach Music Reading, Choir Singing, Voice Coaching, Opera Voice basics, Pop Singing, Rap-Slam rhythm practice, Musical Theatre voice work, and modern contemporary vocal training. Students also practice tone improvement, pronunciation clarity, emotional expression, and harmony singing. I explain concepts in a simple and friendly way so younger students can easily understand and enjoy learning. I also include listening practice, ear training activities, confidence-building exercises, and fun vocal games during sessions!
For students preparing for exams or performances, I provide structured practice plans, vocal exercises, revision support, and mock performance preparation. I guide students through healthy voice habits, stage confidence, song interpretation, and expressive storytelling through music. I also help students who feel shy while singing by using calm motivation and encouraging communication during lessons. Every lesson is adjusted according to the student’s level, pace, and musical interests. My goal is to help students enjoy singing while improving steadily with proper techniques and consistent support!
I teach online one-to-one live lessons using beginner-friendly methods and organized learning plans. Students can learn different music styles including pop, choir, opera basics, musical theatre, indie music, and modern vocal trends. I also help students improve audition preparation, harmony understanding, vocal projection, and song performance confidence. Parents often appreciate my supportive teaching style because I focus on creating a positive learning environment where students feel motivated and excited to practice regularly. My lessons are interactive, structured, and enjoyable for all age groups, and I always encourage students to grow confidently through music while developing their own unique voice and performance personality!
