About Lily

With over 6 years of piano teaching experience and a Bachelor of Science in Music Technology (Keyboard Production), I help students explore the craft of cinematic music composition. I am passionate about composing for film, television, and video games, and I enjoy inspiring learners at all stages of development. My teaching style is fun, personalized, and engaging, catering to school students, college students, adults, and professional musicians alike. Lessons focus on melodic writing, orchestration, synthesizer sound design, and mastering digital audio workstations (DAWs). I have guided students from Intermediate to Advanced and Professional/Expert levels, providing the skills to create cinematic and expressive music. Lessons combine theory, technical exercises, and hands-on composition projects. I encourage experimentation with themes, textures, and motifs, helping students develop a distinctive musical voice. Practical guidance and constructive feedback are provided throughout each session. I focus on translating ideas into full arrangements with emotional and narrative depth. Each lesson strengthens both creativity and technical competence. Students leave lessons confident in composing, arranging, and producing cinematic music. Together, we explore the art and craft of scoring, unlocking creativity and potential. I invite students to begin their journey into cinematic composition with me.
