About Wesley
I am an enthusiastic Saxophone tutor with 9+ years of teaching experience and a proven record of guiding around 150 students. I teach beginners through advanced players and focus on building both technical strength and musical confidence.
My teaching approach is personalized and encouraging. I adapt lessons based on each student’s goals, pace, and learning style. I aim to create a positive atmosphere where students feel comfortable exploring and improving.
Lessons include embouchure development, breath control, tone clarity, finger coordination, and rhythm training. As students advance, I introduce expressive techniques such as phrasing, articulation, dynamics, and improvisation.
In addition to saxophone lessons, I teach music theory, sight-reading, and ear training to develop well-rounded musicianship. My goal is to help students become confident players who enjoy expressing themselves through music

My saxophone teaching methodology focuses on developing a clear tone and strong technical control from the beginning. I start with breathing exercises, embouchure stability, and correct posture to ensure students produce a consistent and rich sound.
I communicate every step clearly and demonstrate techniques so students can easily follow and practice correctly at home. Motivation is maintained by setting achievable targets and acknowledging progress regularly. Integrity is reflected in my structured lesson plans and honest feedback, ensuring students improve steadily without skipping important basics.
Creativity is encouraged through improvisation practice and experimenting with dynamics and phrasing. Along with saxophone, I also teach music theory, rhythm training, and sight reading to strengthen overall musicianship.
