About Erik
I am an experienced violin tutor with 10 years of teaching experience, helping students from school level to working professionals build their musical abilities. I am passionate about teaching and enjoy helping students achieve their goals.
My teaching philosophy is based on strong fundamentals, regular practice, and gradual improvement. I believe that learning violin becomes easier when students clearly understand what they are practising.
I focus on teaching posture, bow control, finger placement, and note reading before moving to advanced techniques. I also guide students in improving rhythm, tone, and musical expression. I have successfully trained over 150 students, many of whom have improved their confidence and performance skills.
I create a comfortable and encouraging learning environment. My goal is to make violin learning a smooth and rewarding experience.
