About Tyler
I am a graduate of an arts specialty highschool who had a focus in creative writing, with four years of experience in writing poetry, creative nonfiction, and fiction, along with critiquing and workshopping pieces of my own and pieces of others, working closely with teachers who are published authors. I have also earned awards with the Alabama Writer's Forum and have been published in YSU's literary journal Jenny.

My teaching method is primarily having students write their pieces and going through meticulously at least twice with critiques and revisions, helping the student to develop their work and learn the rules of grammar and ways to make a story more exciting, make a poem flow better, or make nonfiction pieces more unique and interesting. The content will entirely depend on the age and experience level of the student.

I met Tyler in the 9th grade while attending an audition-based writing workshop.
