About Daniel

I have been writing creatively since elementary school, and have always dreamed of becoming a famous author. My skills improved slowly throughout school, but have shot up tremendously ever since I began studying at Portland State University.

I have taken numerous classes on writing, and am currently exploring it as my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. I love writing and am currently working on a book series of my own, but I have written very well acclaimed stories of my own right.

About the lesson

I will help you figure out and learn the intricate art of storytelling through writing, in order to improve your skills and help you become a better writer, which will help you drastically for a potential career choice or just for the fun of writing.

My lesson plan would revolve around an overall teaching of a specific writing skill (i.e. describing a setting or character development) that you can then work on in the form of a short essay that we will review and go over together, in order to help you succeed in what you want to write.

I have always believed that there is not a "correct" or "proper" way to write, especially in the form of creative writing. These lessons are not here to change your way of writing, nor are they to make you write "better". These lessons are to help you write what you want to write, by improving the fundamental skills of writing and allowing you to tell the story you wish to tell.

These lessons are for anyone wanting to improve their skills in creative writing, regardless of why you wish to write.
