About Gina

The student-teacher relationship is essential to the building blocks of one's interpersonal skills, as well as motivational levels.

Over the past 15 years I've enjoyed working alongside students of all ages; from grade school level, to senior citizens looking to expand their hobbies. Or, simply students hoping to boost their passion into a career. What's essential to the learning process, is that each student feels heard and understood through their practice.

Once confidence is instilled, one can have the proper self-empowerment to reach their true goals. Let's get there together!

About the lesson

Coaching/Lessons will be conducted in a public space. In-person only.

Students will be encouraged to embrace the potentiality of their curiosities, strengths, and working process within their relationship to their art practice. I also offer tutoring in photography, illustration, and archival.

Coaching/Lesson plans are :
- Based on student's skill set & paced for their own unique learning process. Some are more hands-on, while others like to observe quietly. Let's spark the blueprints for your journey, while we work together to navigate what works best for your goals!

Example of Photo lessons:
- Depart from the basics - exploring the F-stop, lighting methods, composition, exposure latitude, and light metering (reflective vs incidental).

We will shoot on black + white film, as well as color. Focus will be on portraiture, and botanical photography.

Thanks for reading! More about my offerings...

What sets me apart from other mentors:
- I practice patience, am quite organized. You might call me focused, and strategic! My job as an observer is to illuminate ones creative focus.

- I have a wide skill-set in the visual arts -Photography, film + video, archival, illustration, embroidery, and music.

Coaching/Lessons are for all levels of learning -beginners and professionals are welcomed!
