About Alec
I love working with students. My wife and I are both English teachers and in our household education is a top priority. I was a slam poet in college and nothing inspires me more than top quality writing. I'm patient and an easy person to talk to. I'll stick with you until the job is done correctly.

- I love to write essays. I can get you started by crafting a strong thesis and outlining the rest of your essay before we begin tackling the meat of it.
- I love close reading. There's nothing better than diving into theme and purpose when it comes to literature. We can discuss why the main character makes the choices they do and how that relates to the world, and more importantly you as a student.
