I have eleven years of experience teaching French and Spanish in a classroom setting. Additionally, I have 12 years of experience tutoring one-on one in Spanish, French and English (ESL). I lived in Mexico City and attended the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Mexico (UNAM). Also,I have a B.A. in French Literature from UC Irvine,CA.

Most recently, I have my certification in TPRS. I have implemented the Total Physical Response Storytelling Method (TPRS) to teaching and have had amazing results. This method is FUN and teaches the flow of the language like how a child learns their native tongue. All input is comprehensible (CI) for the student while the class is immersive in the target language. Grammar lessons are treated as they come up in conversation as "pop-ups" and the students don't even know they are learning the grammar. Crazy personalized stories and audience involved participation with questions to check for understanding are part of this technique. The class is active and no one is ever bored. The TPRS method is the method used by the CIA to teach a Foreign Language.
