About Gussy
I have been working with students for over 25 years with the last 10 as a high school teacher. I taught APUSH and dual enrollment US History in South Carolina; APHUG and AP Art History in Las Vegas as well as Ancient World History. I have 2 A.A. degrees in History and Social Sciences, a BA in Art History and a Master's in Teaching Social Sciences. I am passionate about my subject; I love teaching and learning new things as well.

My teaching methods depend on what you need help with, particularly when it comes to tutoring for AP tests. Do you need someone to help you learn everything? Or just someone to help you fill in gaps? Do you need help with your writing and conveying ideas? Everybody is a little bit different with what they need help with. I tend to teach history and social sciences like science class, testing hypotheses and ideas to investigate rather than just giving out information.
