About Talia
I have been tutoring Spanish since my first semester Freshman year (2015) and received my CRLA certification in 2017. I am also a Teaching Assistant for Spanish 102 at my University and overall grades have been reported higher in the sections I have helped with. I have been studying Spanish since 1st grade and have studied abroad in Medellín Colombia (2012), Antigua, Guatemala (2017), and Quito, Ecuador (2018). In the spring of 2019 I will graduate with a personalized BA in The Exploration of Self: Through Performance, Language, and Gender & Sexuality.

My teaching methodology is to encourage independence; to basically aim to where you no longer need me. I have a very kind and understanding approach and I lead with patience while still accomplishing our mutual goals within the lesson. My goal is not simply just helping you to achieve a good grade, but to also have a good grasp and comprehension of the language.
