About Mia
I am a passionate and disciplined Singing tutor with 6 years of professional experience, having successfully trained between 150 and 200 students across various levels of learning. My teaching philosophy is based on the belief that consistent practice, proper technique, and personalised guidance are the keys to vocal excellence.
I begin by carefully evaluating each student’s vocal range, breathing habits, tonal quality, and musical interests. Based on this assessment, I design a customised lesson plan that focuses on strengthening fundamentals such as breath control, pitch accuracy, tone development, vocal projection, and rhythm precision.
I also integrate expressive singing techniques and performance training to help students connect emotionally with their songs. Vocal health, posture alignment, and safe singing methods are always emphasised to ensure long-term improvement. Through patience, constructive feedback, and structured practice routines, I help students build confidence, discipline, and strong performance skills.

My teaching methodology for Singing focuses on building a strong technical base while encouraging artistic expression. I begin by understanding the student’s vocal range, confidence level, and musical goals. I focus first on breathing exercises, posture correction, and vocal warm-ups to prepare the voice safely.
I then work on pitch accuracy, scale practice, and tone clarity to strengthen control. As students progress, I introduce advanced techniques such as voice modulation, dynamic variation, and range expansion. I encourage expressive singing by helping students connect emotionally with the lyrics.
Each lesson is structured with proper time management to balance technique and performance practice. I also guide students in maintaining vocal health and building consistent home practice habits. Along with Singing, I teach rhythm training, ear development, and basic music theory for complete musical understanding.
