About Charlie
Hello I'm Charlie, based in Wimbledon. I graduated from Central Saint Martins in July 2019 with a 2:1 in Fine art. I've been painting and drawing ever since I can remember and would therefore love to share my knowledge and experience with you. I grew up in France for many years and am therefore fluent in French. I can subsequently speak Spanish to a relatively good level. I've always enjoyed teaching and passing on different tricks and techniques. I have an extensive knowledge of contemporary art and a good knowledge of the history of art. If you are more of a practitioner, I believe that first and foremost, the importance lies in the process. The process I believe is the lifespan of an artwork, and whatever the finished result is nothing but an artefact, the evidence that a process happened. To communicate ideas and concepts efficiently, the process needs to be organised, even abstract painters are choreographers. Please get in touch and I'd be more than happy to answer any questions. Perfect! Really great art lessons
Our ten year old son really loves his art lessons with Charlie. They’re a great mix of information, learning and fun. Charlie thinks of different but linked themes each week and works around the child’s skills and interests. We’re very happy we found Charlie as a tutor and highly recommend him.
