My approach is to give my students the knowledge and abilities to unlock their potential in the kitchen. Knowing and having recipes is great and all - but I strive to give students the baseline information, intuition, and flavor palette to feel truly free and in-control in your kitchen. A few basic fundamentals, as well as utilizing all of your 5 senses efficiently, will allow you to approach every culinary endeavor with confidence.
I worked in culinary from my first job, through college and into my professional life. I owned and operated a private chef business and offered group cooking classes to apartment complexes for the first 3 years that I lived in Denver. After a lifetime of IBS and digestion issues, I transitioned to a plant-based diet in 2015 and have never regretted a thing. I specialize in modifying traditional recipes to suit specific diets.
I will only ask for a varying pay structure if I end up traveling a significant distance to you.
