About Zane
I am a multifaceted and inclusive person that can really fit in with any crowd, so I am confident that I can work with basically any student. I’ve always been a determined hard worker but I also know how to manage my time and not put too much effort or work into something when it is not required. I can work well with a student with a great work ethic or a student whose problem is laziness or finding a way to study that they enjoy.

I’ve been very academically successful at UCSB so far, haven’t gotten below an A- during my junior year so far. I’m also a Division 1 athlete on the Track and CrossCountry teams here at UCSB so I know how to manage time as well. I grew up with ADHD, so learning and adjusting to school was harder for me, so I know how to explain things well in ways that make sense to people whose brains work differently. I am also very strong in writing, for example I wrote a research paper for a writing class at UCSB on how games like Minecraft could be the future of learning for kids, and the professor loved it so much he had me publish it and I ended up making a bit of money from it.
