About Claudia
I have experience in 3rd and 4th grade in Ohio. I currently teach reading and social studies in a 4th grade general education classroom. I am Orton-Gillingham certified, and have taken several courses on Dyslexia and the science of reading. I am passionate about sharing the beauty of reading and literacy with all of my students!

My lessons are engaging and effective! I like to use a multi sensory approach, texts/topics that students are interested in, and change things up frequently to ensure students remain engaged. Structure and routine are important, so our sessions will follow a schedule, but our activities may change. I currently teach at a public school, so if your child takes standardized tests, I can help them prepare for those. Once school starts, I can also collaborate with your child’s teacher to help reinforce skills they are working on in class, or help fill in skill gaps when necessary.
