About Jean-Luc
Hi, I’m Jean-Luc! I have played soccer for most of my life and continued my career at the college level. I primarily played as a center back, which helped me develop a strong understanding of defending, positioning, communication, and reading the game. I now work with a college soccer program, where I continue learning more about coaching and the game from a different perspective.
I enjoy helping younger players improve their skills, confidence, and understanding of soccer. Whether you are just starting out or looking to take your game to the next level, I want to make training enjoyable while helping you become a smarter and more confident player.

My name is Jean-Luc, and I help soccer players improve their skills, knowledge of the game, and confidence on the field. I have years of experience playing soccer, primarily as a center back, and experience working with a college soccer program.
My teaching method focuses on keeping things simple and helping each player understand not only how to perform a skill, but when and why to use it. A typical lesson can include a warm-up, ball control, passing, defending, positioning, game-specific drills, and feedback based on what the player needs to improve.
What sets me apart is my experience playing and working around competitive college soccer. I understand the importance of positioning, communication, decision-making, and playing as part of a team, not just technical skills.
My lessons are best for beginner to intermediate youth players who want to improve their overall game, especially defenders. Training can be adjusted based on the player's age, position, experience, and individual goals.
