About Sofia
I am a current UC Berkeley student looking to tutor people in Spanish. Spanish is my first language. I am a current Legal Studies major on track to attend law school, and later become an attorney. I hope that through my lessons people will feel more confident in their interpersonal skills, their Spanish skills, and will be able to feel more connected to the world around them.

Lessons will be 1 hour long sessions where students will learn different things based on proficiency. A typical lesson would include a warm up exercise to practice pronunciation and confidence followed up by a lesson on basic terms, conjugations, referring to family, friends, or colleagues, and/or asking for help, for example.
As a native Spanish speaker, I will make sure you sound like one too. I will ensure that you don’t sound too formal when you don’t need to be, and be able to differentiate when you need to be and when you don’t. At the very least, I want these lessons to inspire you to connect with other people without having to worry about the language barriers.
Lessons are for people of all ages, of any proficiency! I will work with you! Children, teenagers, and adults all welcome!
