About Eli
Eli got his start on the piano early in life – at age 5 he learned by ear and started composing short songs by age 10. As he continued his musical exploration in his youth, he participated in church choir and picked up guitar and drums by age 12. Once in middle school, Eli began to participate in the youth group’s ‘praise team’, which played songs every Sunday night for the program. This led to his participation in the adult ‘praise band’, eventually resulting in singing background vocals for three morning services and leading the band in the evening every Sunday. As he grew older, his connection to music grew stronger and he decided to pursue a degree in music at Berklee. Luckily, he was accepted as a voice principle – eventually majoring in Professional Music. His studies focused on Songwriting, Music Education, and Private Studio Teaching. While in college, he collaborated with peers on voice, drums, guitar, bass, piano, even singing and playing at the same time. He became passionate about education and music accessibility after seeing the barriers students faced as a Teaching Assistant at Perkins School for the Blind. After leaving Perkins, Eli continued to teach, but instead of in school, he started holding private lessons. Now, for over three years, Eli has taught piano, guitar, drums, and voice to tens of students across the Boston area and plans to open his own studio to most effectively manage his students. His specialties range far and wide, from deafblind/multimodal education on instruments to transgender voice therapy, to most recently Elementary Dalcroze methods in group settings

I was taking bass guitar lessons for 2 years with the same teacher and then switched and took 2 lessons with Eli. I learned more in the 2 lessons with Eli than in a year with my previous teacher! He does a wonderful job at teaching in such a personalized way. His understanding of mental and physical disabilities gives him a unique ability to connect with his students. Eli is incredibly dedicated to forming that connection to provide the best learning environment. Highly recommend!!
I was referred to Eli by a friend. He does a fantastic job explaining concepts, breaking things down, and works with you to reach your goals!
I'm brand new to music and he's been incredibly patient and works with ne to either learn the songs I want to play or at least the skills necessary!
My brother, Eli is compassionate, kind and understanding. He has a vast knowledge of music theory and can play guitar, piano, drums, bass, and ukulele and is also an excellent audio engineer and is proficient in 3 DAWs: Logic Pro, Abelton Live and ProTools (I believe he may be protools certified, level one, as well.) Eli is extremely dedicated to his craft and is extremely passionate for music and loves to teach others what he's wish someone told him when he was learning. Eli is also neurodivergent and has experience in working with neurodivergent and special needs children and is extremely accommodating to those with mental and physical disabilities, as he himself is disabled. Eli will help your child grow musically in more ways than you can imagine. If your child is interested in music lessons, he is in my opinion one of the best options out there.
Eli is an enthusiastic, empathetic and creative teacher whose entire teaching philosophy revolves around connecting with his students and engaging with their interests. He is incredibly patient, kind, and willing to alter his curriculum to fit his students’ learning style. Highly recommend!
