I've been through the public, private, and magnet school systems. They are all very different in their teaching style and I've had to learn to adjust to multiple teaching styles. Sometimes, it takes some time to re-adjust or understand new information, and I guarantee I will be patient and understanding about your situation. I loved Algebra as a kid and I still love it now. I grew up doing mental math problems in the car with my dad since I was a kid. I still love the subject now, and I'd be happy to get back into it with someone else! If you're struggling with Algebra, it doesn't mean that you are dumb or incapable.
