About Faith
My name is Faith Whitton, I am a student at Sonoma State University. I'm striving to be a future teacher! I have limited professional experience with tutoring younger children but I've tutored several family members and friends outside of a professional environment. Other experience I have with students is through being apart of Girl Scouts since I was 5 and working as a swim coach for ages 5-16 roughly. Subjects I am strong in are math, art, creative writing, and I can also help with studying tips, proofreading, and more. One of the biggest reasons as to why I want to become a teacher and a tutor is because I want to be a person who pushes my students for the better, ensuring that not only are they learning the subject matter, but learning it in a way that works for them. There is always room for improvement, questions, and new ideas!
