About Jansen
I have played tennis for over 15 years and experienced the highest levels of junior and collegiate competition. I was ranked as high as #40 in the state of Texas and within the Top 500 of the United States during junior competition. I have coached over 50 students at varying levels of experience, many of whom have made high school teams, club teams, and whom aspire to the collegiate level.

My students will learn the game from the ground up from specific technique, strategy, and tactics, but will also learn to be constant students of the game with a high level of respect for tennis. Whether it’s the first time a student steps on the court, or they are seasoned and experienced players, we will work hard and have fun while doing it, whether they are learning strokes, working on fitness, or trying to take their game to the next level. In a typical class, we will develop a stroke or strategy, employ it in a competitive game, and then incorporate it into match play which involves incentives for employing the developed skill or strategy.
