About Ella

One of my favourite moments when helping students is watching them finally understand a concept they've struggled on for so long. It's very rewarding for me, seeing the pride of students finally realising that their "I can't do it" has become an "I can".

I enjoy teaching all ability levels. I find that a number of students working at lower levels have confidence issues in their own abilities, and when they realise they can do it, they are overjoyed. In contrast, I enjoy tutoring higher level students who are looking to deepen their understanding of the subject and have high level discussions.

About the lesson

Flexible methodology to fit each student's individual needs - I believe there isn't one single learning approach that will fit every student, and to truly flourish in a subject, support is needed to find your unique learning style.

My lessons can range in length from 30 minutes to 2 hours, depending on what works best for the student - younger students may benefit from shorter and more frequent lessons, whereas older students may do well with one hour lesson per week.

I am happy to tutor any age group and level up to AS mathematics. I studied both A Level Maths and Further Maths, and took additional GCSEs in Statistics and Further Maths, with all grades being a minimum of an A, so rest assured I have good experience in all areas of Maths and good knowledge of the system and exams, especially at GCSE level.
