About Charlie
I’m currently studying economics at the University of Exeter after having achieved an A in both A-level maths and A-level Further Maths as well as a Grade 9 in GCSE Maths. My ambition is to inspire young people to be curious, that no question is a silly question and that, with a little effort and guidance, maths can become, dare I say, quite easy!

The best way to learn maths is to practise, and the best way to practise is by doing past papers. But it can often be difficult for students to attempt their past papers independently, no thanks to the unnecessarily complicated mark schemes that the exam boards release. This is where I come in. I waste no time and start going through past papers of an appropriate level of difficulty for the student. This gives the student the chance to practise what they know, but crucially, to find the areas where they are struggling. This allows me to tailor each lesson to the individual so that they can effectively fill any gaps in their knowledge, and develop an effective way to revise like a Grade 9 student.
