About Jonathan
I'm Jonathan, an ECE student at NYU Tandon and a U.S. Army veteran. I served five years as a Korean–English Cryptologic Linguist and now continue in the Army Reserves while completing my degree.
Before returning to school, I founded a tech startup, which is exactly what motivated me to deepen my technical foundations. I'm currently working through the same calculus and computer science courses many of my students are taking, so I know the material, the common stumbling points, and what professors actually grade for.
Fully bilingual in Korean and English. I show up prepared, on time, and I don't move past a concept until you've truly understood it.

Hi! I'm Jonathan — an Electrical and Computer Engineering student at NYU Tandon and a U.S. Army veteran. I tutor calculus, data structures, intro CS, and SAT math, and I'm bilingual in Korean and English (수업 한국어로도 가능합니다).
My approach: Most students don't struggle because the material is too hard. They struggle because no one rebuilt the foundation underneath it. I diagnose where the gap actually starts, then teach forward from there. Less memorizing tricks, more understanding why the trick works.
