About Chiara
I am a first year student at the University of Bath studying Chemistry with Management.
I want to teach as I was fortunate to have great teachers that really made me excel in my subjects but I understand without a good teacher it can often be a struggle to find passion for the subject or as a minimum some understanding.
I think both subjects offer great insight into the world around us and want to share this enthusiasm to others.
Additionally, I loved helping friends at A-level when they didn’t understand a question due to their excitement when it clicked and they understood.

My lessons are for GCSE or A-Level students for Chemistry/Maths. I am happy to teach all levels.
I aim to teach in a very understandable way so you feel comfortable going into an exam. I believe confidence is key to succeeding in a subject which is why I will make sure you are comfortable with all basics before rushing into anything that’s too in depth. I am open to adapt my teaching methods based on your needs and what suits you.
I will do 1 hour lessons as I believe any longer can become tiresome and as a young adult I know it can become less productive to do any longer.
I have never tutored before so this may be just as new to you as it will be for me. However, I have been both a Maths and Chemistry mentor to GCSE students and a swim teacher for 2 years.
I got a 9 in both Chemistry and Maths and an 8 in Further Maths at GCSE and 3 A’s at A-Level (Maths, Chemistry and English Literature).
